The Colour of the Rose Has a Hidden Meaning?

Okay – so giving beautiful fresh roses as a gift maybe a little more complicated than you once thought.  Obviously, there is a meaning attached to the number of roses given and now, the colour of the blooms.  Yes, apparently the colour of the rose (s) has a special meaning.  Now don’t beat yourself up too much about this because not everyone is aware of the meanings & are just so delighted to get such a precious gift – they are simply grateful.  But here goes, if you want the heads up on the meanings of the different coloured roses:-

However, in the very early days of war,it was very unlucky to give Red & White Roses Together as it was a sign of “Blood & Bandages”.  Therefore, a bad omen for the receiver usually a lady meaning that their man going to war may end up with “blood & bandages”.  Some hospitals & nursing staff still feel it is unlucky to send a patient red & white roses.
